Corporate Security Specialists was founded in May of 1990 as a result of a client request to provide a contract security service of superior quality to any in existence at the time.

Since its inception, Corporate Security Specialists has come to be accepted as the hallmark of professional security services in the Omaha, Council Bluffs, Metro Area.

Our "Total Protection" approach to security services is based on the premise that our staff of qualified professionals stands ready to service the needs of your company much as your internal security department would.

Although it has been perceived that for the most part private security personnel are inadequately trained, ill paid individuals who are unable to qualify for any other occupations, we have set out to redefine the industry image.

Corporate Security Specialists feels that these types of individuals have been allowed to represent this industry for too long. We have, therefore, set out to provide our clientele with the professional service they are entitled to and should expect from their security contractors.

All Corporate Security Specialists personnel who are assigned to an armed post are trained and certified in handling firearms by Iowa certified firearms instructors from the Iowa Department of Public Safety Academy located in Camp Dodge, Iowa. Additional training is provided through the Omaha Safety and Health Council. Annual re-certification is mandatory for personnel to retain firearms certification.
